How We Got Cyber Smart follows the adventures of two kids — Olivia and Jack — as they navigate the online world and face cyberbullying head-on.
It tells the story of how they became cyber smart and stood up to their online bully. The book provides practical advice to parents and children on how to protect themselves online and be kind on the internet.

The Author
Lisa is a Melbourne-based author, mother of two, and passionate about educating families about online safety. After watching her own children navigate the online world, she wrote How We Got Cyber Smart to give parents and children a warm, accessible way to open the conversation about cyber safety.
Lisa has developed cyber safety content for the NSW Department of Education, Cool.org and the Women In Security magazine. She was nominated for the 'Unsung Hero' Australian Women in Security Award in 2021.
